The actress later wrote a series of tweets on a micro-blogging site: 'Event stampede! mismanagged! fr t frst time everrr, literally pinched n held by t crowd! horrible it fls. To be manhandled for pictures! bruised; 'Scratched back! bruised arm! ended up slappin 2 who broke thru t security! angry n shaken!'
This is not the first time that a celebrity has been mobbed at an event. Recently, Bipasha Basu too left an event in fear of being mobbed as the security arrangements weren't up to the mark.
When we contacted Divya, the actress first avoided talking about the incident but then later reverted via a text message saying: "I am fine. These things happen and I sorted it my way. Tweeted what I had to. Nothing more to say."
We can safely assume that she is over the terrible incident as she wrote on the social networking site: "Mrning people! big thnx fr all ur concern n wshes last eve! was terrible but m fine! punjbi fighter kudi! wun let tis bog dwn my spirits! lv u al.'
