Going by the latest goss, it certainly seems so! The Vicky Donoractor has apparently opted out from Ramesh Sippy’s directorial venture
18 years ago, Ramesh Sippy directed his last film Zamaana Deewana starring Shahrukh Khan and Raveena Tandon. The filmmaker has decided to go behind the cameras once again. In fact, the Sholay director has reportedly bought the remake rights of a foreign film which would be his directorial comeback. And while Ayushmann Khurrana had given his nod to star in the film, rumours are rife that the dimpled actor has now walked out from the project at the last minute for reasons best known to him. The Vicky Donor actor had immediately agreed to be a part of the project after he watched the original film.
Rohan Sippy, who worked with actor in Nautanki Saala, informed father Ramesh Sippy about the same and a bash was arranged to celebrate this. The actor-cum-singer even attended the bash but after a week, he told Rohan that he could no longer do the film, leaving him and the Sr Sippy shocked. Earlier, Khurrana had made it to the headlines when he refused to do Kunal Kohli’s film as well.
Looks like Ayushmann has developed a knack for rubbing people the wrong way. Well, if he continues doing so, we aren’t sure how many big shot Bollywood directors would want to work with him.
